A special thank-you to all the Santa and Friends volunteers who helped make the 2012 Walkathon kid’s “shootout activity” a huge success again this year! There were a total of more than 30 volunteers.
Over 100 children participated and we saw lots of smiles, high fives and happy parents and children. We received lots of positive feedback, with several people reporting that this was their child’s favorite activity! Congratulations!
A special thanks as well to the volunteers from the Tokai-Japan Canadian Society (TJCS) sponsored Nagoya Street Hockey group. They enjoyed sharing their love of Canada’s national sport with everyone. They also thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to participating again next year.
So, Santa and Friends volunteers, give yourselves a pat on the back. In our own small way, we contributed to making the 2012 Walkathon a huge success! Congratulations, thank-you, and see you again next year.

２０１２Walkathonでシューティングゲームのお手伝いをしてくれた、サンタフレンズナゴヤボランティアの皆さんに心からお礼を言いたいです。３０人以上のボランティアの方が来てくれて、今年も大成功でした。
１００人を超える子ども達が参加し、たくさんのハッピースマイルの子ども達、パパやママを見ることが出来ましたし、シューティングゲームは多くの子ども達の一番人気のアクティビティであったと高評価でした。
また、東海日本カナダ協会と、名古屋ストリートホッケーグループの皆さんにも心からお礼を言います。ありがとう。
皆さんはカナダのナショナルスポーツの楽しさを、子ども達に教え、一緒に楽しんでくださいました。また来年もお手伝い頂ければ幸いです。
サンタフレンズの皆さんは自分に賞賛を送りましょう。私たち自身の小さな方法で、２０１２Walkathonの大成功に貢献しました。おめでとう、ありがとう、そしてまた来年会いましょう。
