Dear SFN Supporters,

I hope this finds you well.

2016 continues to speed by and with the soon approaching year end comes our annual Christmas event for Santa and Friends Nagoya’s 200+ children.

Again this year, like last, we visited each individual orphanage on December 4th for our yearly Xmas celebration, games, activities and of course to accommodate our bearded friend Santa.

Throughout 2016, we have continued the variety of activity with the different orphanages, some on a monthly basis, and some for special events, and many of our volunteers continue to give their time and efforts to the children. We held our annual summer sports day festival in early July, which was possibly the best summer event yet and saw numerous volunteers and children playing games, eating great BBQ foods, and spending quality time together. Also in 2016, we have continued to provide English lessons, music lessons, dance lessons, study support, and over all support to the children as well as visiting and joining the various festivals and events the different orphanages hosted again this year.

WE very much appreciate your continued support and hope that again you would consider supporting us again this year.

As in previous years, and with the aid of all our supporters, in addition to the monthly activities, annual BBQ, and annual Christmas event, we continue to support the orphanages directly with much needed items such as heaters, air conditioners, shelving, and other much needed furniture and related life items. Also as each year sees a number of children reaching the age to graduate and leave the facilities, we still provide each young adult with needed items to get their lives started as a member of society.

This year again as well, with the support of the Hilton hotel, we will be buying business suits for each graduating child.

Again, as in past years, we will be printing the 2016 Santa and Friends Nagoya T-shirts and would love to include your logo on the shirt once again this year.

平素より大変お世話になっております。

2016年もいよいよ年末となり、毎年恒例のSFNクリスマス会も、200人以上の子供たちが参加をしてくれました。

今年のクリスマス会は12月4日に実施いたしました。今年も昨年同様にそれぞれの施設を訪問し、ゲームやアクティビティ、そしてもちろんサンタさんの登場で大いに盛り上がりました。

今年１年を通してまたSFNボランティアがたくさんの新しいアクティビティをそれぞれの施設の子ども達と共にするとても充実した年でした。定期的な訪問では英語レッスン、音楽レッスン、ダンスレッスン、勉強へのサポートに加え施設側企画の様々なイベントにもSFNボランティアと共に参加させて頂きました。特別なイベントを一緒に過ごす訪問ではそれぞれの施設に合わせた内容を考え様々な時間を過ごして来ました。７月初旬には毎年恒例になりつつある夏バーベキューを楽しみながら色々なスポーツアクティビティを通してボランティアと一緒に水を掛け合いながら楽しいゲームを楽しみました。夏の最高の思い出になるようボランティ達と企画を練り暑い太陽の下準備等、頑張りました。

今までの貴方様の子供達へのサポートに一同誠に感謝しております。そして更に今年も何卒引き続きの御支援を考慮していただける事を願っております。

昨年は全ての支援者達によって毎月のアクティビティ、恒例のバーベキューイベント、クリスマス会に加え生活に必要とするヒーター、エアコン、棚、などの物資援助もさせて頂きました。そして今年もまたヒルトン様からのご支援にて３月に学校を卒業、施設を出て社会人の一員として新たな出発を迎える子供達に入社式で着られるビジネススーツの贈り物もさせて頂いております。

我々SFNはこうした皆様のご支援にとても感謝しております。そして、今年も引き続きご支援を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。今年は過去何度と行っている2016 SFN スポンサーTシャツを作成する予定をしております。御社様のご協力を賜れます事をお願い申し上げます。
