Dear SFNers,
We hope you are all well and enjoying the somewhat humid and rainy start to summer.
Here is a quick update for you all.
1. SFN Summer BBQ:
Unfortunately, due to some difficulties in scheduling for many of the orphanages and for SFN leaders, Our decision is to NOT hold the annual SFN Sports Day / Summer BBQ this summer.
Oh well, next year. Maybe...
2. SFN Bi-Monthly Meeting - July 20th - Cancelled:
As we will not be hosting the SFN Summer BBQ, there will be NO meeting this coming Friday July 20th. Our next SFN meeting will be held on Friday September 21st.
Stay tuned for our meeting reminders to you in the upcoming months.
3. SFN Monthly Activities at Different Homes:
As we are continuing monthly activities at a number of Nagoya's orphanages, if you are interested in coming out and getting involved, please get in contact with the leader / Tanto of each orphanage that you would like to support.

SFNボランティアの皆様へ
７月に入ってから猛暑日が続いていますが、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。
５月のウォーカソンから暫く時間が経ちましたが、SFNに関する最新情報をお知らせします。
1. サマーバーベキュー:
施設の子どもたちが夏休みに入り、なおかつ、SFNディレクター等も多忙なスケジュールのため、今夏でのスケジュール調整が難しく。このためバーベキューは開催しないことで決定しました。 来年こそは開催できると良いですね・・・2. SFN隔月ミーティング - 7月の定例会はキャンセル:
前述の通り、今夏の SFNサマーバーベキュー が中止となったため、7月20日開催予定でしたSFNのミーティングはキャンセルとなります。
次回は 9月21日(金) に開催しますので、よろしくお願いします。
3. 各施設でのボランティア活動:
一部の施設にて毎月実施していますアクティビティなどのボランティア活動は、今夏も継続中です。参加されたい方は、各施設の担当リーダーまで直接ご連絡をお願いします。
