日本語Dear SFNers (Santa and Friends volunteers),
On May 18th, the 23rd annual Nagoya Walkathon will be held, which annually raises more that ¥10,000,000 to support several local charities as well as the victims of 3/11.
Santa and Friends has supported this worthwhile cause for the past few years. We have set up a hockey shootout activity in the children's area. The activity has been well received. We need about 25 volunteers to help greet the children, help them do the activity, chase down the hockey balls, give out prizes, etc. It's an enjoyable time with children. We are looking for people who are prepared to donate 1 hour of their time to "work" in the shootout activity.
Expect lots of fun, food, an exciting stage show, and a raffle with great prizes. Be sure to mark it on your calendar now (Sunday, May 18th) and come on out and join the fun at Morikoro Park. (Please check the "Nagoya Walkathon" Facebook page for map and directions).

チケットは2000円で、全額寄付金となります。当日、出演者よりお求めください。
Please let me know when you could be available. The children's area is open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and I would like people to volunteer for 1 hour. That way you can also enjoy the other activities that are part of the day's events.

5月18日（日）に在日米商工会議所中部支部による第23回名古屋ウォカソンが開催されます。
SFNは毎年このイベントをサポートしており、このチャリティーで集まった寄付金は毎年およそ1千万円にもなり、
このお金は地域のチャリティー団体や東北に寄付されます。
SFNはここ数年にわたり、このイベント当日に子ども達へのアクティビティとして、ホッケーシュートの遊び広場を設けています。そこで、SFNのボランティアから25名くらいのボランティアを募集しています。やることとしては、子どものうつボールを拾ったり、打ち方を教えたり、景品をあげたり･･･何人かのチームで1時間交代に手伝っていただきます。
