2019 SFN Summer BBQ Information

Dear SFNers and friends of Santa and Friends Nagoya,

I hope you are all well and enjoying your summers and are ready for the Obon holiday. As you know, we will be hosting the SFN 2019 Summer BBQ on Sunday August 25th and are now in the process of finishing all preparations for the day. We have confirmed that 60+ children will once again attend the event this year and are very much looking forward to some great Fun with the Kids. As in past years, I am sure it will be a warm day (fingers crossed), hence prepare to get WET and have a GREAT TIME!!!!!!!! As all Food, Drink, Activity and other preparations will be taken care of, all we need from you, Is to REGISTER for the BBQ, come out on the day and help set up and spend a great day with the kids!!!!! Details of the SFN BBQ are below for your reference.

SFN 2019 Summer BBQ and Sports Day

Date: Sunday August 25th, 2019 (no backup day in case of rain)

9:00 AM	Meet at our BBQ site & prepare food, activities, etc.
10:30 AM	Finalize all the preparation
11:00 AM	Children arrive
11:30 AM	Opening ceremony
12:00 PM	Lunch Time
12:30 PM	Start activities
13:30 PM	Dodge Ball Tournament
14:30 PM	Start competitions (Wheel-barrow Race, Snack Race, Tug A War, etc.)
15:30 PM	Closing Ceremony
16:00 PM	Cleaning & Packing up

※A few important points
There will be more than 60 children and staff members from Nagoya's four different orphanages for this BBQ event, and we would need all of you to kindly follow the following things:
- We will meet at 9:00AM on the day to help set up.
- We would appreciate everyone helping to clean up after the event.
- Please do not bring alcohol (We provide you food and soft-drinks on the day, of course.)
- Please do Not take and post photos of any of the children faces. (privacy).
The fee is 500 yen per person for the BBQ. Children 10 and under are free. If you have a SFN T-shirt from previous years, please wear it. (SFN T-shirts can be bought on the day. ¥500 (stock is limited).

今年も恒例のSFNバーベキューが 8月25日（日）に開催されます。
本イベントへ ボランティアとして ご参加を希望される方のみ今直ぐ下記にあるURLをクリックしてボランティア登録をお願いします。

当日のイベントスケジュールは以下の通りです：

SFNボランティアの皆さまと、そのご友人の皆さまへ、 暑い夏を元気に楽しみつつ、お盆休みに向けて準備が整っていることかと思います。 皆さんも既にご存じの通り、2019年度のSFN サマーバーベキューを8月25日(日)に開催します 。 今、私たちは準備の最終段階に取り掛かっています！ 今年も60人以上の子供たちがまたこのイベントに参加してくれることになり、 私達も、子供たちと楽しい時間を過ごせることを楽しみにしています。 過去に開催した日と同じように、かなり暑い日になると思います（祈りましょう）が、 びっしょびしょになる準備をし、存分に楽しみましょう！！！！！ 食べ物、飲み物、アクティビティやほかの準備はお任せください。皆さんにお願いしたいこと は、 BBQへの参加登録（8/21までにご登録お願いします）、当日のセットアップのお手伝いと、 子供たちと楽しい時間を過ごすことです！

12:30 PM	アクティビティ開始 (輪投げ, 紙飛行機, シャボン玉, 水風船, ウォータースライダー, など)
13:30 PM	ドッジボール大会
14:30 PM	チームアクティビティ開始 (手押し車競争, パン食い競走, 綱引き, など)
15:30 PM	閉会式
16:00 PM	掃除・片付け

※ 注意 ：
当日は名古屋の4つの児童養護施設から60人を超える子供たち・スタッフが参加する予定です。 終日楽しく子供たちと過ごせるように以下の点を必ず守ってくださるようお願いいたします：

• 当日の集合時間は 9:00AM です。 遅刻厳禁！
• 最後の「掃除・片付け」までお手伝いいただけようお願いします。
• 食べ物・飲み物は此方でご用意しますが、アルコール類は厳禁です。
• プライバシーの観点から写真撮影はできません。
• 当日の参加費用はお一人 500円 です。 以前購入されたSFNのTシャツを必ずご持参・着用ください。 (SFNのTシャツをお持ちでない方は当日会場にて必ずご購入ください。 1枚 500円 です。)
