SFN's Summer BBQ - IMPORTANT!


Dear SFNers,
Thank you very much for joining our BBQ event for July 12th.
In order to make it a successful event, please spend a few minutes to read through the below:


1. Those who are not yet assigned to participate in any activities, we'll assign you in one of them on the day and please help other volunteers prepare and carry out the activity.


2. If heavy rain is expected for this coming Sunday, we will let you know by late Saturday whether or not to postpone it until next Sunday (July 19th), though it's very unlikely as far as we can see in the latest weather forecast :-)


3. Please be at our BBQ site in Shonai Ryokuchi Park by 9am (or at the VERY latest 9:30am). It's not close from the nearest exit of the subway-station on Tsuruma-line, so secure enough time to reach the site (10min on foot). And the event will be finished by 3pm or so.


4. The following items are what we suggest for all of you to bring:

  • Extra clothes (you will get wet for sure)
  • Hat / Cap
  • Sun-screen
  • Chair (if you have it)
  • 500 yen (Be exact! And we will provide food and drinks for you)

5. For those coming by car, please take home as much garbage with you as possible since we cannot throw it away at the site.


6. One most important thing: as much as we will be having fun at the event, please make sure all the kids will also be having fun with you. And whatever happens on the day, safety MUST come first and all the kids will be happy afterwards.


We are looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday. YOLO!

今年のSFNバーバキューに参加登録頂きありがとうございます。
当日のイベントの成功に向け、いくつかお願い事が以下にありますのでご一読願います。


1. 現時点で未だアクティビティの主担当やサーポート係になっていないボランティアの方は、当日私達がいずれかのアクティビティに参加をお願いする事になります。


2. 万が一、当日の天気予報が悪天候になると予想された場合、前日土曜日の夜までにキャンセルするか否かをお伝えします。 予備日として7月19日を想定しておりますが、現時点の天気予報を見る限り12日（日）で大丈夫そうです。


当日の会場である庄内緑地公園には午前9時までに必ずお越しください（最悪遅刻しても9時30分まで）。 最寄りの鶴舞線・庄内緑地公園駅の出口からは徒歩で最低でも10分はかかりますのでスケージュルに余裕を持ってお越しください。 当イベントは午後3時くらいには終了予定です。


4. 可能であれば以下のリストにあるものを持参してください:

  • 着替え （当日は99％の確率で濡れます）
  • 日除け用帽子
  • 日焼け止め
  • 折り畳み椅子
  • 500円 （食事・飲み物はこちらで用意します。 お釣りの出ないようにお願いします。）

5. 会場で発生するゴミはすべて持ち帰らなくてはいけません。 当日車で来られる方は、これらゴミの一部を持って帰って各自で消却いただくことをお願いすることになりますのでご了承ください。


6. 最後に、すべてのボランティアの方々に当日は楽しんでいただきつつも、養護施設の子供たちに常時気を配っていただき、子供たちが一番楽しく安全に参加できるアクティビティやBBQにしてあげてください。
