Dear SFNers,
Hello and once again Happy New Year.

It has been just over 3 weeks since our SFN Shinnenkai, and time really is flying by.


I hope you are all doing well, and getting a good start to 2013!


It is that time again to start our monthly meetings for SFN to continue to organize and support out activities for Santa and Friends Nagoya. Below is an overview of our first official 2013 SFN meeting. We are inviting all those interested to bring some ideas to make 2013 the best year yet for our organization. We will be deciding our 2013 Calendar at the next meeting and would love to hear your ideas. Also we hope to implement a number of committees this year to help strengthen our organization.


2013 SFN Kick off / Planning Meeting


Date: Friday, February 15th, 2013
Time: 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Place: Naka ku Sports Center 3rd Floor Meeting Room
Objective:2013 Planning / Event Committee Allocation

New and Former members all welcome. Let’s make SFN 2013 a great year TOGETHER!


If you are interested in being involved in SFN and / or in a particular committee with but cannot attend the meeting, please send an email or Face Book message and let us know what group you would like to be part of. Below is a list of proposed committees


  1. SFN Communications Committee – interested in helping with web & Face Book?
  2. SFN Fundraising Committee – interested in helping with fundraising?
  3. SFN Event Committee – interested in helping with 2013 events? New event ideas?
    1. SFN Christmas Committee
    2. SFN Summer BBQ Committee
    3. SFN 2013 Events – new / other
  4. SFN Monthly English Committee – interested in helping with English?
  5. SFN Monthly Visits Committee – interested in visiting 1 orphanage monthly?

I have attached the meeting agenda for your reference.


We are looking forward to seeing all those who can attend on Feb. 15th.

こんにちは、そしてもう一度あけましておめでとうございます。 SFNの新年会から3週間以上たちました。時間のたつのは早いですね。


皆さんがお元気で、2013年の素晴らしいスタートを切っているであろうことを希望します！


サンタアンドフレンズナゴヤの活動を組織しサポートすることを継続するため、毎月のみーティングを始める時がまたやってきました。下記は2013年SFNの最初の公式ミーティングのあらましです。私たちの組織を2013年最高の年にするためにアイデアを持ち寄ることに興味のあるすべての人々を歓迎します。次のミーティングでは、2013年のカレンダーを決め、また皆さんのアイデアを大いに聞こうと思います。また、今年は、組織を強化するために多数の委員会も実施するつもりです。

もしも、SFNとある委員会、どちらか又は両方に参加することに興味があってもミーティングに出られない場合は、メールを送るかフェイスブックのメッセージで、どのグループに参加したいか知らせてください。下記が委員会のリストです。
